The project aimed to make terrace configuration appealing by creating an interactive customer experience. Hapticmedia’s mission was to allow users to design the terrace that suits them through intuitive navigation and make their choice using various options, all in real-time. The main objectives were: - Make a complex product accessible by simplifying the configuration and visualization of the terraces - Increase the number of quote requests by streamlining the customer journey - Provide a fun and interactive experience that helps users easily envision their project
The Biscabois 3D configurator allows users to visualize their mobile home terrace with all customization options through real-time 3D display with high-quality rendering. An advanced approach to business rule management ensures that each configuration choice adheres to technical and aesthetic constraints. For instance, stairs can only be placed in authorized locations, and if a barrier is present, it will automatically be replaced by the selected staircase.
The terrace size selection is integrated from the very start of the experience, making customization easier. Through rigorous wireframing and UX (user experience) design, we successfully concealed the product's complexity while offering a wide range of options for bungalow and mobile home terraces. This 3D configurator allows customers to view and interact with their wooden structure, helping them visualize their project thanks to the detailed rendering.
We have created a Web App, accessible from any device, that allows seamless communication between the website and the app. The UX design required thoughtful consideration to achieve a clear and understandable customer journey.
After customizing their wooden structure, users can send a quote request in just a few clicks. The 3D configurator simplifies not only the design process but also the administrative aspect of the project. Biscabois' teams receive a complete and precise request, enabling them to better assist clients in creating their custom terrace.
